Vermont as it should be,warm, and wonderful
By Dad,
The innkeeper Amy is gracious, welcoming, and a great cook. Breakfast served in the formal dining room, fresh, delicious, and a great way to start any day. Soft comfortable beds, gorgeous views out the windows, and the run of the house is the way it should be. Lounging in front of the open face wood stove, watching the big screen TV with a handmade quilt warapped around you made me feel like I was home. The details of the Inn are spot on. It's an old farmhouse, and it feels like on. The decor is well thought out, and quaint in it's look.....I felt like I was at my Grandmothers home! The Woodbridge Inn Coffee House and Cafe just down the street has fresh baked goods, hot coffees and teas, and if you happen to get there for a weekend diner...try to Lasagna!! I had always thought of Lasagna as hearty pheasant food, but Amy cooks it different. It is elegant, and the first mouthful explodes with a complexity of flavors.........firstly you taste the sweet, not over powering, tomato sauce. Then the creamy, smooth rigotta filling, and finally the hot, melted cheese topping done just right under the broiler. It's to die for, truly. We had such a wonderful time in Vermont. As I said, I felt at home, and will surely be making my reservations for the fall foliage season REAL soon!

“Great Place, Great Host!”
My boyfriend, (now my fiance after our recent trip to Woodstock!), have stayed at the Woodbridge Inn every year for the past 4 years and it's been a great visit everytime. We want to thank Amy for her hospitality and for making us feel as welcome in her home as we do in our own.
The Woodbridge is nothing fancy, (if you want that you can stay at the Woodstock Inn for about 10x the price), but it's clean, has a great breakfast and the bed was super comfortable. The grounds are pretty and we enjoyed sitting outside having some wine with friends.
The Woodbridge Inn also recently opened a little cafe/coffee house right down the road. Don't let the outside fool you, it's really cute and funky on the inside and the coffee was excellent.
The only downer is that the Inn is about a 10 minute drive from downtown Woodstock, but that puts you only about 15 minutes from Killington and the price make the extra 10 minute drive worth it.
We hope to stay at the Woodbridge again next year!
